The Horseracing Bettors Forum welcomes the recent directives from the Gambling Commission regarding Alternative Dispute Resolution within the betting industry.
These developments should be of interest to all individuals who have questioned, or may in the future question, how their bets have been dealt with by a betting operator.
The new criteria, which supplement rather than replace existing requirements, will come into effect at the end of October 2018 and should improve the ADR experience for customers in terms of fairness, timeliness, transparency and effectiveness.
The new directives have come about following extensive consultation between the Gambling Commission and interested bodies/individuals, including HBF itself.
HBF, as the officially recognised representative of those who bet on horseracing in Britain, look forward to continuing to assist the Gambling Commission in this and other areas.
